This is a fully dressed thermistor suitable for replacing the ones found in GHD 4.0B, 4.1B, 4.2 and MK5. This part requiries high temperature silicon sealant to fit and for this reason we also stock the element that has a thermistor pre attached by us - heater with thermistor.

The wires are pre-tinned for easy soldering to the PCB pads.

Please note that the wires are to be laid flat onto the PCB pads and some solder used to attach them.

These wires are thicker than on the original so do not attempt to feed them through the PCB.

Do not be tempted to just rest the thermistor on the element without silicon sealant, the irons will overheat every time they are switched on and eventually the thermal fuse will fail.
