Brand new narrow 80ohm heater element with thermistor. This heater is 7mm wide. Suitable for MS4.0 and MS5.0 narrow irons.
For more details about GHD heater elements, please see our heaters page. These instructions are also basically correct for all models of GHD, however the parts may look slightly different.
You must renew the thermal paste when fitting a new element. This is available as an extra with this item for £1.10
All heater resistance values are nominal. Heater resistances can vary plus/minus 10 ohms however this is normal and does not affect operation.
The actual value of this item is usually around 70 ohms.
Please watch our video below where we show how to solder the themistors wires to the PCB and also show you how to replace just the thermistor if required.
